Single Limb Manometer

A Single Limb Manometer is a precision pressure measuring instrument used for measuring low pressures, vacuum, and differential pressures in air, gas, and liquid systems. It consists of a large reservoir connected to a narrow transparent measuring tube. When pressure is applied, the liquid level in the measuring tube changes, and the pressure is determined by observing the displacement of the manometric fluid against a calibrated scale.

The large reservoir minimizes liquid level changes within the reservoir itself, allowing measurements to be taken directly from the graduated tube with enhanced accuracy and readability. This design makes the Single Limb Manometer more convenient and sensitive than conventional U-Tube Manometers for low-pressure applications.

Single Limb Manometers are widely used in laboratories, HVAC systems, clean rooms, ventilation systems, chemical plants, water treatment facilities, and industrial process monitoring applications where precise low-pressure measurement is required.
